Raw Leiba is an American actor and model. Leiba was born in New Jersey to a Brazilian mother and African American-Native American father.〔(The New York Times )〕 Leiba first role was in 1999, in an uncredited role in Oliver Stone's ''Any Given Sunday''. He found work as a sports and fitness model and landed an uncredited role in American Movie Classics' ''Shirtless: Hollywood's Sexiest Men'', which included Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington.〔(Shirtless: Hollywood's Sexiest Men (2002) (TV) )〕 Leiba signed to play an uncredited role on the Peabody award winning show ''The Wire'', as a character originally named "Cave" Stringer Bell's bodyguard. He appeared in three ''Wire'' episodes: "Reformation", "Middle Ground" and "Mission Accomplished". The Wire "Middle Ground" episode featured the warehouse death of Leiba's character "Cave" the bodyguard and kingpin Russell Stringer Bell (Idris Elba) at the hands of Omar Little and "Brother" Mouzone. Leiba has since gone on to do TV and motion pictures both in the United States and Brazil, including ''Knights of Prosperity'' (ABC), ''Kidnapped'' (NBC) and ''Life Support'' (HBO).
